About

Handley James is a reputable recruitment agency, originally established to support the manufacturing community through strategic recruitment in order to make lasting long-term appointments.

However, as their success grew, they have branched out, offering their recruitment services to various sectors – beyond manufacturing. They’ve been able to adapt their techniques from working with manufacturing to add value to other sectors. In addition, they have also recently moved on from a focus on Permanent roles into additionally recruiting for Interim roles, significantly expanding their offering and potential clients.

Project

Our vision was to create a modern, on trend and full screen experience, showcasing Handley James’ commitment to quality recruitment. We set out to create a truly unique and intuitive experience for the user, allowing a seamless user journey through Handley James’ core recruitment service sectors.

We wanted to deliver this via a secure and responsive website built on a bespoke in-house framework using the latest technology and the platform to enable Handley James to relaunch both their brand and new web offering. One of the key features we looked to include was a fully responsive and user orientated experience including the ability to post job adverts. We intended to take the ethos of Handley James and modify the brand to something that’s modern and on trend to fall in line with its client base whilst maintaining its core brand values.

Results

Harrison Carloss rebranded the Handley James website with a fresher, more modern look reflective of the high quality of service you can expect. It has a bright and airy feel, different to the traditional approach of other recruitment agencies, setting Handley James apart.

Originally branded “Handley James Consulting” we shortened the name to remove unnecessary additions which didn’t add to the brand. The new branding has been used across their site and also the business stationery, including business cards. This has helped to create a cohesive brand message and make Handley James more instantly identifiable.

Job Vacancies are displayed in a clean system, with key information should as location and salary highlighted. To avoid any non-relevant listings appearing, roles can be filtered by a number of criteria to ensure the best results, including keywords, job type and region. This has helped to distinguish permanent and interim roles.
